Pictures of the space before we moved into our 1930s fixer-upper

We gave the Living Room a mini make-over after moving in. Pictures were taken before the extension work took place.

We decided to knock through the two reception rooms into one to get light into the back room as well as creating one larger living space for family gatherings

The flooring is laid and the room enters the final finishes.

The Living & Dining Room would go on to have lots of different styles before deciding the final look for this space.

The dresser went darker (Neptune Colour Ink) and we added a new 2 seater sofa to replace the leather chair.

The Living Room was lacking some character following the knock-through and needed some additional detail so Ian created built-in’s working in collaboration with Wickes.

To add some more greenery to compliment the neutrals in this space, we went with this stunning Olive Tree from Villaggio Verde.

For the final time, we would repaint the Dresser in Mylands ‘Oratory’ along with the mirror above the fireplace to bring all the blues together in this room.
